For a bigger night out, Santikos Casa Blanca has dine-in movies, bowling, and an arcade, about three minutes from home. When you want to spend a little time in nature, Canyon State Natural Area is about 10 minutes away, with over 40 miles of trails and mountain biking terrain. Mad Pecker Brewing Co. and Summer Moon Coffee are both nearby for the quieter moments in between.

Loop 1604 and Highway 151 connect you to the Westover Hills employment corridor, downtown San Antonio in about 20 minutes, and Lackland Air Force Base in roughly the same.
